Registering a Computer not Connected to the Internet
- You must first register the software on a computer that is currently connected to the internet. To do this, click 'Tools' on the main menu, and select 'Software Registration'.
- Navigate to your home directory:
- On Windows, it will be C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\LabPrints
- On Macintosh, it will be in /Users/"user name"/LabPrints
- In this directory, you will see a folder named 'System Preferences'. Copy this directory to a disk or CD, and place it in the computer that is not connected to the internet.
- On the non-connected computer, find the 'System Preferences' folder as described in step 2. Delete that folder, and replace it with the folder you saved to disk.
- Start up LabPrints' Digital Studio LP and make sure it is now registered.
