Registering a Computer not Connected to the Internet

  1. You must first register the software on a computer that is currently connected to the internet. To do this, click 'Tools' on the main menu, and select 'Software Registration'.
  2. Navigate to your home directory:
    • On Windows, it will be C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\LabPrints
    • On Macintosh, it will be in /Users/"user name"/LabPrints
  3. In this directory, you will see a folder named 'System Preferences'. Copy this directory to a disk or CD, and place it in the computer that is not connected to the internet.
  4. On the non-connected computer, find the 'System Preferences' folder as described in step 2. Delete that folder, and replace it with the folder you saved to disk.
  5. Start up LabPrints' Digital Studio LP and make sure it is now registered.
