The Difference Between Matted and Flush Albums

Matted Albums Are…
  • Albums with recessed frames, in which each photo is hand-mounted.

Flush Albums Are…
  • Albums where the photos lay completely flat and extend across the whole page.

Hybird Albums:  You may also see "hybrid" albums available from your Album Company.  These albums allow for a combination of matted and flush pages together in one Album.  They offer the photographer the most flexibility to meet client's ever changing desires.
