Current Available Positions:
PHP Developer
LabPrints is hiring for a full time Lead PHP programming position. Applicants should have a thorough understanding of the PHP programming language and at least 2 years hands-on development experience. We are seeking well-rounded engineers and prefer candidates with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. Salary based on experience.
Accountabilities:
- Translate business requirements into a software solution
- Develop new and existing PHP applications based upon solid technical designs
- Define and document technical designs
- Perform initial testing including test case definition
- Define and monitor testing strategies as a part of the implementation process
- Participate in functional and technical design reviews
- Troubleshoot and correct reported issues
- Analyze and optimize web application performance
- Report status on assignments
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Reports directly to the Director of Project Management
Technical Competencies and Skills:
- Expert knowledge
- Expert knowledge of PHP and Object Oriented programming principles (PHP 5.x)
- Expert knowledge of SQL and database design, including queries and data definition in a fairly complex data model
- Experience developing user interfaces using HTML, CSS. JavaScript and AJAX
- Thorough knowledge of XML
- Experience working in a UNIX shell
- Experience working with source management tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus the ability to collaborate with local and remote team members and stakeholders

Applicants should have a thorough understanding of the Java J2SE programming language, and 2 to 4 plus years of experience with Java. We are seeking well-rounded engineers and prefer candidates with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. Salary based on experience.
